Montegrotto Terme
4km – It can be reached by bicycle in 10 minutes
In the immediate vicinities of Abano is the city of Montegrotto Terme, reachable, if one wishes, even by foot. In Montegrotto Terme the ruins excavation of an ancient Roman spa complex lie visible, and also recommended for nature enthusiasts is the famous Butterfly Arc a real butterfly house that recreates the ideal habitat for hundreds of butterflies free to fly around the visitors.
In addition, in Montegrottto you can visit the Art Glass Museum and view the installations of artistic glass in the town square. The weekly market is held on Wednesdays, and every second Sunday is the market dedicated to antiques.
Battaglia Terme
13km – It can be reached by car in 15 minutes
Then, the nearby Battaglia Terme’s historical center which runs along the waterway of the same name, hosts a river navigation museum. Not to be missed:
Teolo

In Teolo there are various attractions for sports and culture enthusiasts. A real stone climbing wall at Pendice Rocca awaits climbers, while the Abbey of Praglia, a Benedictine monastery of the XI century, with a famous library and a restoration center of ancient books, will satisfy anyone who loves historical spiritual places.
Torreglia
7km – It can be reached by car in 15 minutes
Near Torreglia visit the marvelous Villa dei Vescovi protected by FAI and offering countless initiatives and events in its gardens. Do not miss also a visit to the “Eremo del Rua” a Camaldoli-based monastery cloister with access prohibited to women.
Galzignano Terme
11km – It can be reached by car in 23 minutes
Galzignano Terme hosts, within its area in Valsanzibio, the famous Villa Barbarigo with its Italian-style gardens that hide symbols and a complex system of fountains with completely functioning water games.
