Padua
15km – Reachable in 20 minutes by car
In Padua in addition to the famous basilica del Santo and Chapel of Scrovegni, Giotto’s masterpiece, other must-see locations include the historical downtown with the Palazzo della Ragione, the ancient Court that today hosts the “Altinate-S. Gaetano” cultural center and the university, one of the oldest in Europe.

Monselice is a historic town located to the the south of the Euganean Hills with a thirteenth century fortress on top of the hill overlooking the city. Seven small churches stand on the slope of the hill: pilgrims’ destination where it was possible to obtain the same indulgence that was bestowed to those who visited the seven major basilicas of Rome.
In its historic center, we recommend to those who love visiting ancient buildings a stop at the ancient Monselice castle with museum and a vast collection of original armors and weapons.
